Dysport® in Beverly Hills & Los Angeles
What is Dysport?
Dysport is an FDA-approved injectable filler used for treating facial wrinkles. Dysport is very comparable to Botox®, but they are made by different companies. They work in the same way and have the same basic composition.
Dysport relaxes the muscles you use to frown, resulting in smoothed facial lines and wrinkles. It typically lasts about 4 months.
What is the difference between Botox and Dysport?
Studies have shown that the results of Dysport may become visible sooner than the results of Botox, though some users have not noticed a difference between the two products. Other studies have indicated that Dysport affects a larger area around the injection site. Again, these results were not seen in all cases and so may not be conclusive for all patients. Dysport is slightly less expensive, but appears to be almost identical to Botox in function and result.
Introduction to US Market
Prior to being introduced in the US, Dysport was used successfully for years in Europe. Now that it is available here, this competition stands to benefit patients by encouraging more attractive pricing. This also encourages new developments in the field of cosmetic enhancement and plastic surgery, leading to safer and more effective treatments.
Dr. Simoni introduced Dysport to the US with the “First Ever Dysport Party” in Beverly Hills, where patients were given priority access to the treatment and its amazing results. It became a favorite right away and has been the product of choice for many of Dr. Simoni’s patients ever since.
